The Landscape
GARDENS OF TRANQUILITY

The Lawn
View from 8 Queenʼs Terrace
The Lawn
The Lawn lies at the centre of St John's Wood Square, created in the tradition of the Georgian London garden square. Classically proportioned and welcoming, it is framed by mature, characterful trees and richly layered planting.
Together with the surrounding gardens, The Lawn is designed both as a place to spend time and as a series of carefully composed views. Each has been considered from a particular threshold or vantage point, so the landscape brings a quiet sense of calm to the homes around it. Planted for the long term, it will be enjoyed for generations.

“The attraction of this project was nature, and an idyllic garden square was its heart. It’s a deeply thoughtful development designed to mature exquisitely and bring joy to residents and locals alike from day one and for years to come.”

A Truly Tranquil Space

Sanctuary Garden
Sanctuary Garden
To the north-east of The Lawn, and accessed directly from The Riding Club, lies the private Sanctuary Garden. Planting encloses a series of intimate spaces, while materials reclaimed during the restoration of the Grade II-listed Riding School recall the site's history. Timber kickboards that once divided the stables are now set into the garden walls.
It is a place for quiet conversation, reading or reflection, set to the gentle sound of water.
